Anthony M. Deiter, 77 of Plainfield, passed away on March 06, 2025.  He was born on September 21, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Eugenia (Curran) and Charles E. Deiter.  Anthony graduated from Cathedral High School.  He married Frances Lorraine Skiles on April 05, 1975 and she preceded him in death on January 18, 2025.  Anthony worked at Standard Grocery, Kraft Foods and also the commissary at Fort Benjamin Harrison before retiring.  He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing.  Anthony was an avid Yankees baseball fan and a Cadillac enthusiast.  He and Frances enjoyed collecting antiques together.  Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann Harrington; stepdaughters, Cynthia Ann Tencza (Chris), Debra Colette Ficklin; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  His parents; wife; brother, Charles J. Deiter; sister, Lucille Deiter; stepdaughter, Vicky Green; and great granddaughter, Braelyn, preceded him in death.  Private services will be held with burial to follow in Bluff Creek Cemetery in Johnson County.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the arrangements.
