Annette Turner, 91 of Plainfield, passed away on August 09, 2026. She was born on May 24, 1935 in Inman, Virginia, to the late Ethel (Frye) and Frank H. Bowman. Annette married Dallas G. Turner on July 09, 1973 in Clayton and he preceded her in death.

Annette worked as an L P N in healthcare for several places throughout her lifetime. She served as the Director of Nursing for many years before retirement. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star #393, loved listening to Bluegrass Music, creating ceramic pieces and thrift shopping. Her most favorite time was spent with her family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Don Coleman of Indianapolis, Ronnie Coleman (Tonya) of Clayton, Tim Coleman (Jenny) of Indianapolis; brothers, A. Darrell Bowman of Lexington, KY., Buddy Bowman of Nicholasville, KY., Jim Bowman of Nancy, KY.; sister, Sandra Whitt (Phil) of Nicholasville, KY.; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Frank H. Bowman, Jr., Tony Bowman; and one grandson, Donnie Coleman III.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in the Clayton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service time in the funeral home.
