Aaron Mitchell Lowhorn, 77, of Martinsville, passed away on October 07, 2024.  He was born on October 08, 1946 in Allen, Tennessee, to the late Bessie Alvadean (Conner) and Waymon Estes Lowhorn.  Aaron was a United States Army veteran.  He started his career in 1978 at General Motors and retired in 2005 as an inventory controller forklift driver for Rolls Royce.  Aaron was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, and nature. He was active with the Indiana Bass Federation for 20 years enjoying his love of fishing while competing with other avid bass fishermen. Survivors include his son, Michael Lowhorn; daughter, Jennifer Teismann, both of Missouri; brother, Shelby Lee (Elda Ruth) Lowhorn; brother-in-law, Richard Smith (Sallie); nieces, Amy (Travis) Dunn, Corinthia (Aaron) Glaze, Sherry Lowhorn; nephews, Brian (Gina) Lowhorn, Randy (Michelle) Lowhorn; and his companion of many years, Ruby Evans. His parents; brother, Milton Estes Lowhorn; and sister, Barbara Sue Smith, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Entombment with military honors will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service time in the funeral home.
