Obituary

Ronnie G. Schauwecker, 63 of Clayton, passed away November 1, 2018.  Born February 12, 1955 in Terre Haute, Indiana, he was the son of the late Gordon and Oletha “Peggy” (Craig) Schauwecker.  He graduated from Avon High School in 1973.  Ronnie worked in several capacities throughout his lifetime.  He worked for the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department, was an owner/operator truck driver for several companies, and also a heavy machine operator.  His passion was working on the farm, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Medora Wesleyan Church and the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653 F & AM.  Survivors include his son, Craig Schauwecker (Mindy Lindley) of Plainfield; daughter, Tiffany Schauwecker (James Martin) of Clayton; brothers, Donnie and Lonnie Schauwecker.

Services will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.  Inurnment will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 9, 2018 in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City.  A Celebration of Life and pitch-in dinner will follow at 6:00 pm in the home of Donna Shidler at 9487 E CR 800 S Plainfield, IN 46168.
