My condolences to the Burrows family. I had the pleasure of knowing Coach and Ms B for many years through my Father and Grandfather before playing for him @ DHS. My brother Bill and I still share many stories and fond memories of Coach on and off the field. Coach was a positive influence on thousands of kids including this one..

I am fourtunate to know Coach Burrows as one of his players (Class of 70). It was my greater pleasure to know him as a mentor for many years in the DJFL. Coach Burrows understood that his players of tomorrow would be better if the fundamentals were taught properly. It is a part of the many things he did within the Danville Community. Teacher, Mentor, Coach, Town Council Member and dear Friend. My deepest sympathies go to his family and his friend. I know what we lost.

Sending prayers to the Burrows family. Dick coached my husband in Cross country and I had memories of Mr. Burrows in drivers ed. He told the story that I was the best student driver he ever had. I believe he didn’t lie. A few less jokes will be told now that he’s left us.

I've taught with Dick for 25 years, served on the Town Council with him for at least 12 years and actually coached 7/8th grade football with him. He was a good man and a good friend. He made a huge mark on Danville and touched the lives of thousands of people.
My condolences to all the family..
