Richard Allen Singleton, 54 of Danville, passed away October 7, 2019. He was born on May 8, 1965 in Danville to the late Bassie and Mary Butler Singleton. Rich worked as a sheet metal machinist for Oak-Rite Manufacturing in Plainfield for many years, retiring in 2016. He was an avid Nascar fan, hunter and a former member of the Pine Hills Archery Club. Survivors include his siblings, Carl Singleton of Cloverdale, Joy Canada of Denver, IN., Joe Singleton of Danville, Ernest Singleton of Danville, Linda Nease of Cumberland, KY., Bonnie Barks of Clayton, Jack Singleton of Stilesville, Rheada Randall of Danville and Randy Singleton (Tracie) of Taylorsville, IN.; 100 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bassie Singleton, Jr., Mary Lou Willoughby and Almeata Adams. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Hadley Friends Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service in the funeral home.
