Randall W Bailey

Randall W. Bailey, 65 of Cooper, Texas, passed away April 24, 2018 in his home.  Born June 20, 1952 in Muncie, he was the son of Lewis Wendell and Martha Elizabeth Milthaler Bailey.  He married Linda S. (Welch) Butterfield on September 19, 1980 in Lawrence, Indiana.  Growing up on a farm, he learned the value of hard work and also raised Championship Show Cattle.  He served 6 years in the U S Army Reserves as an Army Aviation Air Traffic Controller.  Randy worked as a retail manager for many years for Kroger, Tom Thumb and Walmart.  He and his brother had previously owned Bailey Concrete Pumping.  Randy is survived by his wife, Linda Bailey of Cooper, TX.; son, Kenneth Bailey of Schulenburg, TX.; daughters, Joanna “Jana” Reffitt (Barry Nichols) of Cloverdale, Kerri Reffitt (Michelle Pippin) of Rowlett, TX.; brothers, Lewis (Jan) Bailey, Ronald (Connie) Bailey, all of McCordsville; sisters, Sonja Wolfe of Anderson, Shirley Durnal of Albany; 4 grandchildren, Mark and Geddy Royal, Ashley Bush, Dustin Cheatham and Randy’s mother-in-law, Shirley Brown Welch.  His parents and 2 infant brothers, Larry and Huey Bailey, preceded him in death.  Services will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with visitation for one hour prior to the service.
