Jennette P. McCleary, (59) of Plainfield, passed away November 9, 2019. She was born on November 13, 1959 in Indianapolis to E. Rosemary (Bussell) Kinman and the late Grant Jones. She married William E. McCleary, Jr. on August 8, 1980 in Speedway. Jennette graduated from Lawrence North High School, attended Butler University for 2 years and graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She has worked as a C. P. A. for Katz, Sapper and Miller for the past 28 years. Jennette was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, volunteered with Meals on Wheels, ground crew for Military Honor Flights and St. Vincent de Paul. She was involved with the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce and was a former Sunday school teacher at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Indianapolis. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafts, needlepoint, and especially sewing. She even made their wedding attire.
Survivors include her husband, William E. McCleary, Jr. of Plainfield; sons, Thomas W. McCleary (Erica) of Avon, Joseph M. McCleary (Angelique) of Danville; mother, E. Rosemary Kinman of Indianapolis; siblings, Melody Vandiver (Charles) of Texas, Viola Ferge (Sam) of Pendleton, Willie Jones (Alicia) of Florida, Barbara Jones of Markleville, Brad Jones (Frankie) of Tipton, Bruce Jones (Janet) of Crawfordsville, Ed Jones of Kansas, Janet Cambron of Cicero; grandchildren, Derek Coers, Madalyn McCleary, both of Avon, Keal Meunier, Sophia D. Rose McCleary, both of Danville. Her father and brother, Mark Jones, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2019 at St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.
