Jared Wayne Stagner passed away on October 25, 2017. Jared was born at Hendricks County Hospital January 29, 1972, and was life-long resident of Plainfield. He attended Brentwood Elementary and was a graduate of Plainfield High School in 1990. In high school he perfected his football skills and also ran track. He was involved in the DECA club and competed in the State DECA competition. Jared attended Franklin College on a four-year football scholarship. At Franklin College he became a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. In 1994, he was elected to the Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society.
While in high school, Jared ran copies for his father at “Special Education Services”. In 1995, Jared became the owner and renamed the business “Educational Services Academy”. In the years that this tutorial business has been open, hundreds of students have been helped by the instruction and leadership provided within. Jared wisely assembled a teaching staff that has provided a quality learning environment. Educational Services Academy has been helpful to so many who have found success in school and in life. He loved boating, travel, good conversation, and sharing in the achievements of his students. Most of all, he adored his daughter Kaylee.
Jared was the son of the late Harold W. Stagner (1999) and Donna Watson of Alabama. He is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Marie Stagner, his older brother John T. Stagner (Theresa) and nephews and niece: Jacob, Rachel, and Ben.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday November 1, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Memorial services will start at 8 p.m. with Rev Alan Farmer officiating.
