Jane O’Bannon Parker, 92 of Plainfield, passed away on July 8, 2019 in her residence. She was born on August 13, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pa to Robert and Faith Dropsey O’Bannon. She was the widow of Philip “Ted” Parker. Jane was a homemaker, English teacher and was truly a community service provider. She was a member of Plainfield United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa, Friday club, bell choir at the church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Survivors include her daughter Ann Parker and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son: Philip O’Bannon Parker, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. in Plainfield United Methodist Church with calling hours from 11 a.m. until services. Inurnment will take place in Maple Hill cemetery.
