James William “Bill” Martin, 77 of Plainfield passed away on January 31, 2018. He was born on November 17, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Thomas and Nora Colclasure Martin. He married Linda Randall on March 3, 1962, she preceded him death in 2017. Bill worked for 40 years as a job setter at Allison’s before his retirement. He was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Plainfield. He enjoyed to read, travel and tinker with things with his hands, mainly resulting in Linda throwing them away. Survivors include his 3 Daughters: Pamela Cupka, Melissa Bain and Michelle Cox and husband Scott. Grandchildren: Michael Kemp, Megan Bain, Kaitlin Cox and Jared Cox. Greatgrandchildren: Zoe Kemp, Abby Kemp, Jane Kemp, Ethan Rash and Karsyn Henderson. Visitation will be on Sunday February 4, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with services to start at 3:30 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.
