James M.Carson age 62 died on August 18, 2019, in New Smyrna, FL with his loving daughters by his side. Jim was born to Bert T. Carson and Wanda Carson of Brownsburg, IN. Jim was privileged to spend his career alongside his father and his brothers as a car dealer of Carson Ford (1954-1981) in Brownsburg and later Carson Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in Plainfield from 1981 until 2000. Jim was dedicated to philanthropic service. He was a 32nd degree Mason, Shriner, a member of Sons of the American Legion, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He also served as a volunteer firefighter for Liberty Township for many years. He was an admirer of cars, boats, and traveling. He is preceded in death by his parents “Bud” Carson and Wanda Carson. Jim will be remembered as a loving, dad, grandfather, brother, and friend to all. Survived by the mother of his children, Kathy Carson, daughters-Katie Carson (Brent Cooley), Kyle Tutterow (Jeff), grandchildren- Roman Cooley, Tatum and Tenley Tutterow as well as three brothers- Tom Carson, Jeff Carson, and John Carson. A memorial visitation will be held on September 7, 2019, from 10:00- 12:00 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield with lunch following at the Brownsburg American Legion.
