Imogene (Cohron) Harlan

Imogene Harlan, 87 of Lizton, passed away May 6, 2019.  Born September 28, 1931 in Butler County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Anna Lou Burris Cohron.  She married John Carter Harlan and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1993.  Imogene worked as a cook for Tri-West High School for over 30 years before retiring.  She enjoyed crocheting and ceramics.  Survivors include her sons, J. Stephen (Lucy) Harlan of Jamestown, Gail (Kelly) Harlan of Danville; daughter, Lou Ann (Russell) Glidden of Monrovia; sister, Esther McCoy of Bowling Green, KY.; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Her parents, husband, 6 siblings and a grandson, preceded her in death.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2019 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  Burial will be in the Tuck Cemetery, Butler County, Kentucky, at a later date.
