Helen K. Stegemoller Campbell, 86, of Plainfield, passed away on May 26, 2018 at Cumberland Trace in Plainfield. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 23, 1932 to Leonard and Stella (Hankins) Stegemoller. Helen worked at Eli Lilly & Co. for over 22 years, retiring in 1989. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1950, and attended Westside Church of the Nazarene and Plainfield Christian Church. Helen is a member of the ASA National Softball Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, OK. Helen enjoyed church, family, friends, working on her flowers, playing golf and drives through the countryside. Visitation will take place on Friday June 1st, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with entombment to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield. She is survived by her daughter: Sandra (Steven) Stull, granddaughter: Stephanie (Matthew) Soulia, sister: Betty Truax, brother: Earl Stegemoller, and 14 nieces and nephews.
