Obituary

Dempsey Lee Romine, 78 of Coatesville, passed away August 30, 2019 at his home.  He was born on November 11, 1940 in Campbellsville, Kentucky, to the late Walter Harvey and Lizzie Lee (Kerr) Romine.  He married Elizabeth Ellen Deitz on December 23, 1991 in Acton, Indiana.  Lee worked as a manufacturer’s representative in Sales and Marketing for many years, was the fixed operations manager for an auto dealer and also a truck driver.  He is an U S Army and National Guard veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and the Indiana Sheriff’s Association.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth E. Romine of Coatesville; sons, Kevin Romine, David Romine; daughters, Jessica Hines, Lesley Neeley; granddaughters, Kathryn Hines, Shawnie Romine, Ama Anahata, Megan Romine; grandsons, Collin Hines, Paul Enders, Doug Willert, Davey Romine, Geoff Neibert; four (4) great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Chuck Deitz; son-in-law, Jarrod Hines and daughter-in-law, Marcie Kessner Romine.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, September 16, 2019 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with a masonic service to begin at 7:00 pm.  Military rites will conclude the services to honor Dempsey Lee Romine.
