Carolyn A (Springate) Eggers

Carolyn A. Eggers, 71 of Plainfield, passed away July 28, 2018.  Born October 11, 1946 in Beech Grove, she was the daughter of George Byron and Lola (Angrick) Springate.  She married John A. Eggers in 1963 and they were together for forty-nine years before his death in 2013.  Carolyn was a registered nurse for 45 years, retiring from I. U. Hospital in 2011.  She was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her children, Tracy (Bill) Oliver, Christopher (Jackie) Eggers, Matthew Eggers; brother, Frank (Jamie) Springate; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Roberta Foster and brother, Michael Springate.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 in the Plainfield United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Contributions may be made to the Plainfield United Methodist Church 600 Simmons Street Plainfield, IN  46168.
