Carol June Graves 86, Indianapolis, joyfully met Jesus Christ our Savior on Saturday December 30, 2017 in her residence. Born on August 2, 1931 in Indianapolis to Elizabeth P. Grimes and Burl Lee Foxworthy.  Carol was the widow of Robert Graves and proud mother of eight.  According to a recent poll, Carol June has been voted the best neighborhood “mom” by all the kids on Hamblen Drive for the past 50 years.  Carol was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church since 1957.  Survivors include her children: Robert Earl, Jr. (Karen) Graves, Linda (Pat) DeWeese, Bev (Tim) Matthews, Michael, (Tammy) Graves, Rita, (Rick) Stevens, Sharon, (Joe) Pence and Elizabeth, (Anthony) Bunn.  She was preceded in death by daughter Deborah Mitchell.  She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 19 Greatgrandchildren and anyone that knew Carol knew her children were the love of her life.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 1401 South Mickley Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana 46241.  Visiting hours will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday January 4, 2018 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday January 5, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1401 Mickley Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana 46241.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
