Adam Czyzewski passed away Monday, July 2nd, 2018 after a long struggle with depression and anxiety. Adam was born to Sally and Alan Czyzewski on April 9th, 1997. He attended Saint Susanna Catholic School from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade, Plainfield High School, and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He was an Eagle Scout, who loved the outdoors. His hobbies included kickboxing, hiking, hunting, fishing, cooking, and working on his ’66 Impala. He loved his family, his friends, and his golden-doodle puppy, Luna. His sense of humor would alternately make others laugh and groan. He was the first to step up and help people but the last to take any credit for it. He is survived by his parents, Sally and Alan, his two sisters, Annie and Mary, his puppy, Luna, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Helen Czyzewski, and Harold and MaryEllen Richards, his uncle Jim Basl, and his cousin Gregory Gardiner.
The visitation will be Friday, July 6 from 7 to 9pm at Saint Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield, IN. The funeral will be Saturday, July 7 at 10am at Saint Susanna Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers (since Adam was allergic to flowers), donations may be made to Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church 710 E Buchanan St Plainfield, IN 46168 for the "Cubs Den Lunch Program” (written in the memo), a children’s lunch program. Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
