Mark and Mellissa Baker both graduated from Plainfield High School in 1989 and 1993 respectfully. Mark went to Mid America College of Funeral Service and received his funeral directors license in 1995. Mark is a fourth generation funeral director. Mark and Mellissa were married on July 20, 1996. Mellissa graduated from Butler University in 1997. Mark is a member of the Plainfield Elks Lodge #2186 and Prestwick Country Club. Mellissa is the current president of Plainfield Tri-Kappa Sorority, Board member of the Plainfield Softball Association, and member of the St. Susanna Catholic Church. Mark and Mellissa have three children Shelby, Mitchell, and Macy.

Greg Monnett joined Hall-Baker Funeral Home in 1993. He attended Indiana State University and is a graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service. Greg and his wife, Dina, have 2 children, Corbin and Carly. They are members of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, where Dina is a teacher in the Play and Share program. Greg is currently Vice-President of the Plainfield Board of Zoning Appeals, Cub Scout Den leader, and Past President, Treasurer and Secretary of Plainfield Kiwanis Club.

J. Bruce Baker was born on August 15, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Danville High school in 1968. Graduate of Indiana College of mortuary science in 1976. Went into business with his father C. Rawleigh Baker in 1977. Purchased Baker Funeral Home from his mother Margaret Franklin Baker in 1980. Incorporated Baker Funeral Home with Hall-Baker Funeral home in 1997. Active in both funeral homes as a Funeral Director. Bruce is the father of J.B. and Sabrina Baker. His memberships include Danville United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Plainfield Elks, and Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity.

Jessica A. Myers Scott is a 1983 graduate of Danville High School. She attended I.U.P.U.I. and Ivy Tech both in Indianapolis. Jessica is married to Gregg Scott and has three children Brittni, Natalie and Brock. She started working for the funeral home 1993, upon her youngest child entering pre-school. Although her main responsibility is administrative services, Jessica enjoys meeting the families and listening to their stories to ensure a more personalized funeral service. Since receiving her insurance license, she is able to help with pre-needs and pre-funding of funeral arrangements.

Barbara Mitchell Baker and her late husband, Charles W. "Bill" Baker, bought the Hall Funeral Home from Leon and Maude Hall in April, 1964.  They moved into the living quarters of the funeral home in June, 1964. Barbara is a member of Plainfield United Methodist Church where she is a member of the Praise Bell Choir, Golden Girls Christ Care group and the Young at Heart committee.  She has been involved in various civic organizations, including Tri Kappa Sorority and P.E.O. Sisterhood.  She was involved in PTO and Band Boosters when her children were students in Plainfield Schools where they all graduated.  Barbara serves as a Study Buddy for an elementary student and occasionally assists her granddaughter's classroom teacher.  She is also on the Board of Advisors for the Hendricks County Community Foundation.  Barbara received her B.S. degree in elementary education from Bethel College, McKenzie, Tennessee and came to Indiana where she taught for two years and met her future husband.  They have three children, Mindy Ackles, Holly Schumann and Mark Baker.  She is the proud grandmother of ten.

Charles W. “Bill” Baker was a student of Butler University and a graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science. Having worked with his father and grandfather in the Baker Funeral Home of Danville from an early age, he purchased the Hall Funeral Home in Plainfield in 1964. He married Barbara Mitchell on August 4, 1963, and together they had two daughters (Mindy and Holly) and a son (Mark). Bill was Hendricks County Coroner from 1973 to 1981, a president of the Plainfield Optimist Club, and a member of the Board of Directors of First national Bank of Danville. He was also a life member of the Elks Lodge, a member of Masonic Lodge #653, the Plainfield United Methodist Church, the Hendricks County Shrine Club, Phi Delta Kappa of Danville, Indiana Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, Hendricks County Lodge, and the Fraternal Order of Police. He passed away on January 14, 1994, at the age of 55.
