Timothy Smith 66, Fillmore, Indiana went home to heaven on October 5, 2017.  He was born on July 30, 1951 in Moss, Tennessee.  Tim was known for being a kind, giving, sweet soul and truly loved by all who knew him.  Tim was a the owner of Residential Drafting and was a contractor/home builder for many years previous to that and retired from Hendricks County Planning & Building in December of 2016. 
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Surviving him are his wife of 47 years, Janet E. Smith (Fillmore), daughters Penny Smith (Thorntown)and Lawana Smith (Bainbridge), grandsons Levi Garrity, Carl Heidenreich and Michael Smith,  granddaughters Lacey Allen and Melanie Smith and a great grandbaby on the way, brothers Veldon Smith(Mary) & Samuel Smith(Emily), sisters Sandra Oliver (Al) and Evon Lawson (Steve) & Linda Smith as well as many nieces and nephews and a handful of very special "work daughters".  He was preceded in death by his father Estus Smith, mother Vassye Smith and brother Jerry Smith. Calling will be on Sunday October 8, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday October 9, 2017 in the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Stilesville Cemetery
