I worked with Roy for many years at United Airlines both in SFO and Indianapolis. Roy was the hardest working individuals known to man. Tireless in every aspect from working at United to all the projects he had going on at home at the same time. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Nancy and the entire Goetsch family.

I had the most honorable duty of passing Roy during his probation period when he joined United. He and I laughed that I 'kicked him out' of my basic sheeetmetal skills class because he knew too much. That began a lasting friendship from SFO to Indy, side by side as Operations Managers there. I will miss him greatly! My heartfelt condolences to you Nancy, a greater guy there never will be!
