Randall L. Summers, Sr., 61, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Randy was born the youngest of seven children on August 11, 1955 in Brazil, Indiana to Richard and Eloise (Starret) Summers.   After graduating from Cascade High School, Randy accepted a position at Conrail, where he worked as a welder for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an incredibly talented musician, performing with several well-known artists. Randy is preceded in death by both his mother and father, a brother, Enos Summers, and a sister, Xenna Nelson. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Trosvig) Summers; sons, Randy Summers, Jr., and Chris Summers; daughter, Danielle Summers; step-son, Chad Campton; 9 grand-children; sisters;  DeeDee Rooze and Rita Summers; and brothers, Cletis Summers and Terry Summers.

Services will be held at 10AM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield with burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-8PM on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home.
