Marvin M. Taylor 82, of Avon, passed away on February 25, 2018 in his residence. He was born on April 12, 1935 in Bicknell, Indiana to the late Maxwell and Dorothy Tooley Taylor. He married Sharon Dalton on June 7, 1958; she survives. Marvin was a member of the Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post #500. He was a chief aircraft inspector for Combs-Amr and Leer Jet in Indianapolis for 21 years, retiring in 2001. He was an US Army Veteran retiring after 21 years of service. Visiting hours will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will follow at 12 noon in the church with Pastor Jeff Reed officiating. Inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Taylor; sons, Steven and Richard Taylor; sister, Maxine Hickman; grandchildren, Bryce Taylor, Kyla Taylor, Dawson Taylor and a great grandchild, Ellie Taylor.
