Linda L. Martin, 73 of Plainfield, passed away on July 28, 2017 in I.U. Health Methodist Hospital.  She was born on July 23, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ernest and Lorinda Harmon Randall.  Linda married James William “Bill” Martin in 1962 and she endured his pestering for 55 years.  She was a homemaker, an office manager and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Plainfield. She volunteered at the church, enjoyed dancing, singing and reading. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Reverend Michael Samson will officiate.  Calling hours will be observed from 4 p.m. until the service time at 7 p.m.  Survivors include her husband, Bill Martin; daughters, Pamela Cupka, Melissa Bain and Michelle Cox; sister, Shirley Herzberg; brother, Thomas Randall; grandchildren, Michael Kemp, Megan Bain, Kaitlin Cox and Jared Cox.  5 Greatgrandchildren  Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
