LAWRENCE L. “STONEY” FULLER OBITUARY
Lawrence L. "Stoney" Fuller of Clayton, Indiana passed away on April 13, 2016 in Avon, Indiana. He was born September 27th, 1928 in Xenia, Ohio to Mary Jane and Lawrence G. Fuller.
Stoney served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division during which time he was a member of the football team. Later, he was called to serve in the Korean War. Stoney was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 440 and worked as a plumber for 55 years; 16 of those years were with North Mechanical Contracting. Stoney belonged to the Primitive Baptist Church in Coatesville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary L. Fuller, a vetreran of the Vietnam War, and his daughter, Mary Jane Fuller. Stoney is survived by his wife of 38 years, Freda Fuller, his son Greg Fuller and wife Lynne, step-son Tim Stroud, granddaughter Amanda Snyder and husband Dustin, grandsons Josh Stroud and Travis Stroud, great-granddaughters Makenzie and Brooke Snyder and great-grandson Mason Hunter Stroud.
Memorials may be made to the Coatesville Primitive Baptist Church, attn: Freda Fuller, 318 Kathryn Court, Clayton, IN 46118.
Visitation will be held at 387 E Broadway, Danville, IN on Saturday, April 16, 2016 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be immediately following at the Clayton, IN Cemetery. Baker Funeral Service, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
