Jackie Lee “Jack” Blevins, 82, Plainfield, passed away on January 9, 2017.  He was born on March 1, 1934 in Mitchell, Indiana to Theodore R. and Emma Price Blevins.  He graduated Mitchell High School in 1952, and married Carol “Kay” Eckensberger on February 4, 1956 in Mitchell, Indiana; she survives. After serving in the U.S. Army, Jack graduated from Indiana University in 1961.   He was a General Supervisor for Chevrolet Truck and Bus in Indianapolis for 23 years, retiring in 1984.  He was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, Mitchell Masonic Lodge #228 and was a 50 year member, Scottish rite, Murat Shrine and Plainfield Elks Club #2186.  Calling Hours will be on Saturday January 14, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the Plainfield United Methodist Church. A Memorial service will start at 11 a.m. in the church with Rev. Charlie Wilfong and Rev. Ron Mercer officiating.  Inurnment will take place in the church Columbarium.  Survivors include his wife Kay Blevins. Sons:  Stephen Blevins and wife Stephanie and Scott Blevins and wife Angela.
