So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. After my grandfather passed a couple years ago I found this quote that seemed to put into words how I felt at that time, and still carries with me to this day, so I would like to share it, “There are moments which mark your life. Moments when you realize nothing will be the same, and time is divided into two parts; before this and after this.”

We miss you, our dear pew buddy. Pointing to your watch to remind Tony to start services on time or offering Donnice a piece of candy to lessen her cough. You always seem to see humor in the smallest things and this will always be our fondest memory.

It simply breaks my heart that I cannot be there with all of you during this difficult time. Aunt Helen was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. I can't even count the number of times she was there for me in my life: making halloween costumes, giving me lunch money when I forgot mine, telling a joke, or just giving me that smile of hers to brighten my day. She always made me feel like the most special person in the world. She will be missed so very much. It would be selfish of me to want her back now. Her suffering is over and for that I must be thankful. I can only hope that she knew how much I love her. I pray all of you feel GOD'S comfort during this difficult time. I love you all. Cindy

I am so very sorry for your loss. Helen will be greatly missed. She was a very loving and caring person. I remember how she took care of Audley when she became ill. She stayed with her day and night. We will be praying for peace for your family.

Helen was one of the nicest souls I have ever encountered in my lifetime. She never spoke a bad word about any person. I will pass a memory on to the family. She told me a story where she was young and talking to, I believe her mom on the phone. She said the lady she was talking to was watching a bird build a nest. Helen told me at the time she could not imagine having enough time to do something like this raising her kids, which she always loved very much and bragged on them to me, However she said she caught herself one day watching a bird struggle with a price of string trying to build a nest. This after her children had grown. She laughed and said she couldn't believe she finally had the time to watch a bird build a nest. If you were lucky enough to have known Helen you were truly blessed.
