Mrs. Gulley was my 6th grade teacher, circa 1968, at St. Susanna School. I thank God for her often. She had a profound influence on me and is my favorite teacher ever. She believed in me and instilled a confidence in me which helped me to go on and eventually earn a Ph.D. There will always be a special place in my heart for Mrs. Gulley.

I knew Gloria more after I graduated with Glenn then I did when we were in school. My mom, Jean Flynn and my Aunt Carlene Shockley knew of her well. I would be with them and if we saw Gloria they really enjoyed seeing her. Gloria always took the time to visit my mom and aunt when they would be in the hospital. She was always so sweet! When I read the e-mail from Bonnie tonight that she had passed the memories of that sweet smile of hers came flowing back into my mind. Gloria is another great mom that we will see in heaven one day.
