So sorry to hear of the passing of Darlene. We went to Ben Franklin Junior High together were she was a cheerleader and I played basketball. We also went to Newark High School together I graduated in 1963 she graduated in 1964. Her husband Gary graduated with me in 1963 from Newark High School. She was very quite and shy but she was a very kind person. I rememe3ber she lived on Summit Street and still remember the house she lived in. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family at this very difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this time of sorrow. May GOD comfort you and may she rest in peace. Ralph F Howard, Jr. class of 1963

I didn't know Darlene well--only in passing in the school hallways but she always had a smile for me and others. God Bless and keep her; she was a lovely woman.

Jennifer,
My life was made fuller and richer by having your Mother be a part of it. She was such a lovely lady. I so enjoyed her hugs and smiles and kind words. She was a joy to be in the same room with. She was a special fixture in our Illluminaries Sunday School Class and will be dearly missed. We spoke often of our grandchildren and it was very apparent that she adored all of her family very much.
