Dale Moore, Jr., 65 of Indianapolis, passed away July 19, 2016.  Born July 27, 1950 in Hammond, he was the son of Dale Moore, Sr. and Jo Ann Rathburn Davis.  He was an U S Navy veteran and had worked as a millwright at U S Steel for 13 years, retiring in 2011.  Dale was a member of First Christian Church in Hessville.  He enjoyed coaching youth soccer, coached and played for club and travel soccer and also coached at Lowell High School for the boys and girls soccer teams.  Survivors include his sons, Christopher (Jordan) Moore, Derek Moore; brothers, Brad Moore, Kenny Davis, Odie “Barney” Davis, John Davis; sister, Cheryl (Dave) Schmid; and two (2) grandchildren.  There will be no services.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
